• Spotify is the world's leading streaming music provider and has affected all aspects of how music is enjoyed and created. • On the music industry side of Spotify - the Music Mission - we think of ourselves as the software layer of the new music industry. • We are looking for a web engineer with experience building data intensive applications to join the squad, a team dedicated to supporting artists by providing tools to build and distribute their video catalog as well as analyze its performance.

Requirements

• You have proven experience in Web Development • You know how to build user-friendly, data-rich JavaScript(React)/HTML/CSS/Typescript applications • You are experienced with modern testing, debugging and automation techniques • You have a working understanding of object-oriented and functional programming paradigms • Care about software architecture across the front-end, back-end, and the APIs gluing them together • You care about UX and building responsive, user-friendly web applications • Comfortable working in an agile environment and challenging yourself and your team to improve their ways of working
