Description

• Provide oversight and leadership on technical direction • Lead with empathy • Collaborate well with others • Keep your teams focused and engaged • Maintain a regular release cadence and product backlog • Uphold a standard of timely and lossless communication • Build the trust of the individual contributors on your teams • Work with peers in Product, QA, and other Engineering departments • Coach and mentor team members • Cautiously drive adoption of new technologies and processes • Preserve our engineering values of quality, scalability, and maintainability • Identify blind spots and prioritize work across teams • Work with international teams to ensure successful product development and delivery • Own the overall architecture and systems engineering for your products

Requirements

• Exceptional communication and organizational skills • Experience recruiting for and building software engineering teams • The ability to inspire and motivate team members • A strong technical background in software engineering and architecture, and experience with modern programming languages and frameworks • 8+ years of software development experience • 2+ years of experience managing software teams (as a Team Lead or a Manager) or similar experience as an individual contributor.
