Description

• Senior Full-stack Developer, DevOps will deliver high-quality web and mobile experiences. • Supports continuous integration, delivery, and deployment in a Google Cloud environment. • This role helps to close the literacy gap with tech solutions for educational programs. • Responsibilities include maintaining CI/CD pipelines and developing core features using Ruby on Rails and React.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in full-stack development with exposure to DevOps practices. • 4+ years of experience with React and Ruby on Rails. • Experience with serverless architectures on the Google Cloud Platform and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes). • Familiarity with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools (e.g., Terraform) and supporting CI/CD tools (e.g., Google Cloud Build, Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions). • Excellent understanding of monitoring, logging, and alerting tools and practices. • Knowledge of relational databases and the ability to write complex queries for data manipulation and retrieval. • A degree in computer science or a related field (nice to have). • Familiarity with security best practices in DevOps, including secure coding, vulnerability scanning, and compliance (nice to have). • Familiarity with implementing and managing deployment pipelines (nice to have). • Experience collaborating with off-shore development teams, demonstrating strong communication and coordination skills (nice to have).
