Description

• Lead a team of data scientists and software engineers responsible for the end-to-end development and deployment of new generative AI product features. • Partner with product managers, designers, and engineers from other teams to deliver new capabilities to our customers and define opportunities for applying data science to our products. • Act as a player-coach, simultaneously working to deliver new data products while overseeing and guiding the work of data scientists and engineers, helping direct and support their professional development. • Contributing to shaping our long-term roadmap. • Empower team growth by upholding our standards and fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration • Stay current with the latest AI and ML research, identifying opportunities to integrate innovative solutions into Sprout's AI capabilities.

Requirements

• 5+ years of progressive experience in the Data Science/AI/ML space • 2+ years as a manager of data science and/or engineering team and working in cross-functional teams to deploy production-level data products • Demonstrated experience developing and scaling high-performance teams through hiring and coaching of data scientists and engineers. • Deep proficiency of the end-to-end ML lifecycle and applying that to a broad range of ML problem spaces • Proficient with model services, deployment technologies, ML-Ops practices, and cloud services (e.g, GCP, AWS, and Azure) • Experience with generative AI and working in a broad range of ML problem spaces, including classification, regression, time-series, recommendation systems, anomaly detection, and/or natural language processing • Experience leveraging the Python data science stack for model development and deployment • Experience partnering with product and design to articulate and execute an AI roadmap • Familiar with software engineering best practices and managing software engineers.
