Description

• Reviewing business requirements and preparing test scenarios. • Conduct thorough manual testing of software implementations to identify bugs, defects, and inconsistencies. • Develop and execute automated test scripts using industry-standard testing tools to streamline the testing process and improve efficiency. • Design and develop detailed test cases based on implementation requirements and specifications. Ensure test cases cover all functional and non-functional aspects of the software, including edge cases and error scenarios. • Assist in coordinating and facilitating UAT activities with end-users. Provide guidance and support to users during UAT sessions, ensuring that their feedback is effectively captured and addressed. • Analyzing test results on database impacts, errors or bugs, and usability. • Preparing reports on all aspects related to the system testing carried out and reporting to the project team. • Assist project management team in continuous improvement efforts to optimize our implementation methodologies • Work with development and dev-ops teams to influence, design, and validate solutions • Assist in the creation of customer-specific testing documents • Document issues encountered during testing and acceptance phases • Maintain project-related documentation including issues logs, configuration guides and test cases • Maintain and enhance knowledgebase of internal best practices

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field • Proven experience in software testing, with a focus on both manual and automated testing methodologies • Proficiency in using testing tools such as Selenium, JUnit, or similar would be a plus • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with meticulous attention to detail • Strong understanding of relational databases & SQL in particular
