• Squarespace is looking for a Senior Software Engineer to build, maintain and scale the DNS Platform. • You will report to the Product Engineering Team Manager and have the option to work onsite (NYC), hybrid, or fully remote (U.S. only). • Practice disciplined software engineering, writing server-side code, creating high-volume production applications, and developing prototypes quickly. • Lead the development of new features and build backend services with Java. • Collaborate with other engineers across product, platform and infrastructure teams to help shape the DNS Platform at Squarespace.

Requirements

• 7+ years of development experience in Java, Python, Go or another Object-oriented language. Experience developing large-scale software. • 2+ years of experience with Domains or DNS (Domain Name Systems) • A solid foundation in computer science, with competencies in data structures, algorithms, and software design practices. • A degree in Computer Science or related or equivalent industry experience.
