Description

• Own the design, implementation, and testing of one or more multi-sensor calibration pipelines. • Collaborate closely within and outside the team (hardware, autonomy, safety, etc.) to gather and align sensor calibration requirements. • Lead the development and testing of multi-sensor calibration algorithms, including one or more of the following calibration problems: Camera-Camera, Camera-Lidar, Radar-Lidar, IMU-Vehicle, etc. • Contribute to the development of automated sensor calibration, and calibration verification algorithms in the cloud. • Contribute to the development of writing safety-critical and real-time C++ onboard. • Maintain existing software APIs and pipelines.

Requirements

• Strong understanding of classical state-of-the-art state estimation algorithms in one or more of the areas of SLAM, filtering, optimization, geometric, continuous-time state estimation, or geometric computer vision. • Excellent performance-oriented C++ engineering skills. • Experience with automated driving. • Experience working with a GPU (cuda). • Experience in Deep Learning pipelines. • PhD (or 5+ years of experience) in state estimation fields, such as Robotics, Computer Science, Engineering.
