Description

β€’ Own the design, implementation, and testing of one or more multi-sensor calibration pipelines. β€’ Collaborate closely within and outside the team (hardware, autonomy, safety, etc.) to gather and align sensor calibration requirements. β€’ Lead the development and testing of multi-sensor calibration algorithms, including one or more of the following calibration problems: Camera-Camera, Camera-Lidar, Radar-Lidar, IMU-Vehicle, etc. β€’ Contribute to the development of automated sensor calibration, and calibration verification algorithms in the cloud. β€’ Contribute to the development of writing safety-critical and real-time C++ onboard. β€’ Maintain existing software APIs and pipelines.

Requirements

β€’ Strong understanding of classical state-of-the-art state estimation algorithms in one or more of the areas of SLAM, filtering, optimization, geometric, continuous-time state estimation, or geometric computer vision. β€’ Excellent performance-oriented C++ engineering skills. β€’ Experience with automated driving. β€’ Experience working with a GPU (cuda). β€’ Experience in Deep Learning pipelines. β€’ PhD (or 5+ years of experience) in state estimation fields, such as Robotics, Computer Science, Engineering.
