Description

• We are seeking a skilled VoIP Integration Engineer to design, optimize, and oversee the implementation of our company’s VoIP infrastructure. • Your primary focus will be on architecting scalable and reliable VoIP solutions, integrating them seamlessly with existing systems, and ensuring high-performance communication across all platforms. • This role requires expertise in VoIP systems and protocols, a deep understanding of integration practices, and the ability to address complex architectural challenges. • Design and implement VoIP system architecture, ensuring seamless integration with current network and telecommunication infrastructures. • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify business needs and translate them into VoIP architecture solutions. • Develop and maintain standards, best practices, and documentation for VoIP architecture and integrations. • Configure, test, and optimize VoIP solutions, including hardware, software, and integrations with third-party systems. • Proactively identify and troubleshoot VoIP-related performance issues and provide effective resolutions. • Lead the deployment of advanced VoIP features such as call routing, call center solutions, and unified communications. • Evaluate emerging VoIP technologies and recommend improvements to enhance scalability and reliability. • Implement robust security measures to protect VoIP systems from cyber threats and vulnerabilities. • Train and mentor internal teams on VoIP architecture and integration practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Telecommunications, or a related field. • Proven expertise in VoIP architecture and system integration, including designing and implementing scalable solutions. • In-depth knowledge of VoIP protocols (e.g., SIP, RTP, H.323) and their application in diverse environments. • Strong experience in unified communications platforms (e.g., Cisco, Avaya, Asterisk, Microsoft Teams). • Familiarity with cloud-based VoIP solutions and platforms, preferably AWS or similar. • Advanced understanding of VoIP hardware and software, including PBX systems, softphones, and gateways. • Experience with system performance monitoring and optimization tools tailored for VoIP. • Proficient in UNIX/Linux-based environments and scripting for system automation. • Excellent analytical skills with a focus on VoIP system security and reliability. • Strong interpersonal and communication skills for cross-functional collaboration. • Experience with creating comprehensive VoIP architecture diagrams and system documentation.
