Description

• Work in modern technologies and frameworks • Be a valued member of an autonomous project team • Iterate and experiment to deliver new and existing digital, data-focused products to a diverse set of customers • Be a technical leader both within your project team and the STF community as a whole • Work with modern tech stacks/tools, and advance STF’s practice in the delivery of digital product • Work with different customer bases in a variety of technologies • Work across the full stack, seeing features through from concept to delivery • Help define the product roadmap and near- and long-term technology priorities

Requirements

• At least 6 years of experience in either frontend or backend web technologies and a strong interest in learning technologies across the stack • Experience leading software engineers or other technical practitioners • Passionate about user experience • Knows and cares about sound product delivery practices like continuous delivery, automated testing, and test-driven development • Willing to fail fast and continuously iterate • Values high quality, maintainable code, collective code ownership, and continuous improvement • Curious and collaborative, open to occasional pair programming and mentoring/learning from others • Low ego and willing to learn • Inclusive and open minded • Proficient in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript • Knowledge of cloud platforms with deployment experience in at least one platform (e.g. AWS) • Experience with SQL a must NoSQL preferred but not required • Have professional experience with TypeScript, React, Node.js • Familiarity with JavaScript frameworks and tooling, like Next.js, Express, Storybook, or similar
