📋 Description
• The Starknet Foundation supports the development of Starknet, a state-of-the-art layer 2 blockchain network built on top of Ethereum. • Our mission is to unlock Ethereum’s scalability and efficiency, making decentralized applications more accessible and effective. • We are seeking an experienced and proactive Compliance Lead to spearhead our compliance efforts. • This role is crucial in ensuring adherence to regulatory obligations, fostering a culture of compliance, and supporting sustainable business growth. • The successful candidate will report to the Head of Legal.
🎯 Requirements
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in compliance working in the financial industry or technology environment. • Experience in sanctions and AML • Experience in GDPR. • Deep understanding of MICA. • Experience working with Regulators. • Ability to work independently in a remote environment with a globally-dispersed team. • Knowledge of blockchain technology, cryptocurrencies, and decentralized finance (DeFi) is highly desirable.
