Changing the home entertainment experience
• As a Cybersecurity Engineer at Starz Entertainment, you will play a critical role in safeguarding our digital infrastructure and protecting sensitive information. • Work closely with cross-functional teams to identify security vulnerabilities, develop and implement security solutions, and respond to security incidents. • Endpoint management: deploy and manage EDR solutions and enforce end-point configuration policies to protect against advanced threats. • Monitoring and analysis: ensure coverage of security telemetry, investigate security incidents, and develop strategies to prevent future occurrences. • Incident response: develop and execute incident response plans, providing quick and effective solutions to security incidents and breaches. • Security solutions: design, implement, and manage security solutions to instill operational efficiency across the enterprise. • Security policy and procedure development: contribute to the development and maintenance of cybersecurity policies, standards, and procedures, ensuring compliance with industry regulations. • Security assessment: conduct regular security assessments, review vulnerability scans and collaborate on remediation plans for actioning vulnerabilities. • Security awareness training: educate employees on security best practices and provide training to promote a security-conscious culture. • Risk assessment: evaluate and prioritize security risks and collaborate on strategies to mitigate them effectively. • Security testing: conduct security testing on new systems, applications, and technologies to identify vulnerabilities and recommend security improvements. • Security compliance: ensure compliance with industry and regulatory standards (e. G. , GDPR, NIST) and assist in preparing for and responding to audits. • Documentation: maintain detailed records of security incidents, actions taken, and security configurations, as well as produce reports for management.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field (master's degree preferred) • Industry-recognized certifications such as CISSP, compTIA Security+, or equivalent • Proven experience in cybersecurity, including risk management, incident response, and security infrastructure management • Proficiency in network security, operating systems, and security technologies • Experience utilizing and managing Firewalls (Palo Alto, Cisco, or Fortinet) • Experience with Industry Standard Security Information and Event Management Systems (Exabeam, Sumo Logic, MS Sentinel etc.) • Experience with endpoint protection solutions such as CrowdStrike, SentinelOne, MS Defender, etc.) to perform protection, mitigation and forensic analysis • Exposure to using Tanium Enforce for configuration management of end user computing devices • Proficiency in Python and/or Power Shell • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills • Knowledge of compliance standards and regulations • Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and present security-related findings to non-technical stakeholders • Ability to stay current with emerging cybersecurity threats and technologies
