Description

• Steer Health transforms healthcare with the industry's most widely adopted Al-fueled patient experience and growth. • Creating next-generation consumer engagement experiences with solutions spanning care communication, patient engagement, scheduling, smart notifications, and more. • Seeking a highly motivated, experienced Back-End Developer to join our development team. • Build and maintain backend applications with Node.js, JavaScript, and TypeScript. • Work with LLMs, setting up embeddings and fine-tuning responses. • Design and manage MongoDB databases for efficient, scalable solutions. • Collaborate on API development to connect our data to the frontend or other services. • Bonus: Set up conversational flows if you’re familiar with Dialog flow.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience as a Backend Engineer with a strong focus on NodeJS. • Proven experience building and deploying event-driven applications using Cloud Functions GCP. • In-depth knowledge of MongoDB and NoSQL database design principles. • Excellent understanding of RESTful API design principles and best practices. • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation tools. • Strong communication and collaboration skills. • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. • Passion for building high-quality software and solving complex technical problems.
