Description
• Understanding of Stellar Cyber’s product in depth • Develop features and improvements to Stellar Cyber’s machine learning infrastructure, including components for machine learning data streaming, preprocessing, and management, and machine learning model training and inference • Advocate for improvements to product quality, security, and performance • Craft code that meets internal standards for style, maintainability, and best practices • Work with large-scale data systems and infrastructure • Solve technical problems of moderate scope and complexity • Collaborate with Product Management and other engineering teams (e.g., Platform, UI/UX) to maintain a high bar for quality in a fast-paced environment
Requirements
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science with at least three years of experience in software development, or PhD in Computer Science with a research focus on software systems • Deep technical knowledge on networking, operating systems, cloud systems, data structures, and algorithms • Knowledge and experience in distributed streaming platforms, e.g., Flink, Kafka • Knowledge on machine learning and/or security • Experience with design and development of software systems, including but not limited to distributed systems, microservices, etc. • Three years plus experience in Python and/or Java • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills • Enthusiasm to keep up with new technologies and tools • Proficiency to communicate over a text-based medium (e.g., Slack) and can succinctly document technical details
