Description
• We are a rapidly growing company at the forefront of innovation in the EdTech industry. • Dedicated to shaping the future of education through groundbreaking products and services. • Looking for a Data Engineer to streamline database interactions for analysts and enhance the efficiency of data workflows. • Identifying and documenting hypotheses for optimizing analysts' interactions with databases. • Collaborating with analysts and technical teams to establish standards for database operations. • Developing best practices for writing database scripts. • Writing complex scripts to support advanced database interactions. • Optimizing existing database scripts for performance and efficiency. • Managing the creation of silver- and gold-tier tables. • Designing and implementing a system for evaluating and monitoring data quality.
Requirements
• 3+ years of experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar role. • Strong SQL skills. • Experience with data analysis in Python. • Hands-on experience with databases such as S3, PostgreSQL, or similar systems. • Proficiency in database administration. • Solid understanding of computer science principles. • Analytical mindset with strong critical and systematic thinking skills. • Ability to independently solve problems and proactively propose solutions. • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities. • Advanced project management skills, ensuring tasks are prioritized and completed efficiently. • Nice to have: Experience with cloud analytics solutions such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
