Description
• Interacting with clients to resolve outstanding payments • Working with internal teams to complete the collections process during west coast working hours • Reaching out to clients via email and phone to effectuate the collections process • Sending monthly statements of account to clients • Corresponding with contacts at client firms to verify payment status, payment information, and maintain good account standing • Resolving outstanding account issues while maintaining a positive customer relationship • Communicating cross-functionally with billing and account management to reconcile billing issues • Providing excellent and hospitable customer service
Requirements
• 1+ years of A/R and collections experience; a hospitality mindset is key! • Comfortable working on the phone throughout the day reaching out to clients to build relationships and make collections. • Amazing Excel skills (a must!)--bonus points if familiar with tools like Looker, Zendesk, or Hubspot! • Thrive while operating independently and dealing with ambiguity. • Very comfortable with digital productivity tools like Google Workspace, Slack, and Zoom. • Critical thinker–someone who is creative and can come up with new and innovative solutions to day-to-day challenges. • Ability to work through highly-detailed processes at an efficient pace while staying organized. • Desire to work with a fast-paced and quickly growing tech start-up; knowledge of the court reporting industry is a huge plus! • Bonus if you have 1+ years of experience working in the Court Reporting or similar industry!
