📋 Description
• The Android POS Engineer will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and enhancing Android-based POS software solutions for the company's payment ecosystem. • This role involves collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, integrating secure payment technologies, and ensuring optimal performance of POS devices. • The engineer will also contribute to innovations in real-time payment acceptance and NFC capabilities. • They will report to the Engineering Manager and may collaborate with other product and technical teams.
🎯 Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent working experience. • 3+ years of experience in developing Android applications, preferably in financial technology or payment systems. • Experience with payment technologies, NFC, and secure data handling. • Strong understanding of EMV standards and key injection practices. • Proven expertise in developing and deploying payment solutions for Android-based POS terminals. • Solid understanding of security protocols and practices, including P2PE implementation. • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. • A track record of success in financial technology or a related technology start-up is highly advantageous.
