📋 Description

• St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital is seeking a visionary Principal Infrastructure Architect. • Lead the strategic design and evolution of our hybrid infrastructure. • Encompasses on-premise environments and cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP, etc.). • Drive innovation and efficiency through automation and Infrastructure as Code (IaC). • Develop and maintain a comprehensive infrastructure architecture roadmap. • Lead the design and implementation of scalable, secure, and resilient hybrid infrastructure solutions. • Evaluate and recommend emerging technologies to optimize infrastructure performance and efficiency. • Provide architectural leadership for on-premise and cloud hosting environments. • Define architectural standards and best practices for infrastructure teams. • Drive the adoption of IaC principles and automation strategies across the infrastructure. • Define and implement security architectures to protect sensitive data and systems across hybrid environments.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business or related field of study required. • Master's degree preferred. • 8+ progressive years of experience in IT industry. • Experience leading IT infrastructure transformational initiatives. • Expert-level knowledge in either on-premise Windows Server architecture or on-premise Linux server architecture. • Extensive experience in designing and implementing cloud infrastructure (Azure, AWS, GCP, etc.). • Deep understanding of automation principles and extensive experience with scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Bash, Python). • Proven experience in architecting and implementing IaC solutions using Terraform and/or Ansible. • Proven track record of developing and implementing infrastructure architecture roadmaps. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to design complex systems. • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
