📋 Description
• StorMagic is looking for a self-motivated, driven Software Engineer, to join our current software engineering team to support further development and maintenance of StorMagic's products. • Key responsibilities involve execution of the full software development lifecycle and integrating software components into a fully functional system. • This role will involve collaboration with our QA, DevOps, Technical Services, and Product teams to ensure our products are fit for the requirements of our end users. • Developing high-quality software code for deployment in existing and new Company products. • Identifying, prioritizing, and executing tasks in the software development life cycle. • Provide input and feedback towards designs, architecture, and code implementation. • Contributing to the ongoing evolution of existing applications and systems. • Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including QA, DevOps, Technical Services, and Product. • Complete code to deadlines outlined by management and product teams and evidence code quality where required. • Work alongside the QA and DevOps teams with testing and debugging of software. • Investigating and staying up to date with the latest technologies and industry trends.
🎯 Requirements
• Must have a minimum of 3 years work experience in Software Development • Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related subject • Strong knowledge of software methodologies, tools, and processes including Jira ticket management system • Experience in Go Programming Language (RESTful APIs, Database management, Concurrency, Distributed systems fundamentals) • Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process • A basic knowledge of Linux services and utilities • Knowledge of Virtualization fundamentals, Containers (Docker), and Networking Protocols • Demonstrates strong communication, teamwork, and analytical skills • Has strong attention to detail • Great problem solving abilities
