• Would you love to play a direct role in transforming student success at HBCUs (Historically Black Colleges & Universities)? • InsideTrack is looking for an experienced, results-oriented leader who feels motivated by our nonprofit mission of helping individuals reach their educational and career goals through the power of coaching. • The ideal candidate will strengthen student outcomes at HBCUs across the nation that primarily serve low-income, first generation, and under-resourced learners. • Through strong network partnerships, you will help us deliver results that increase enrollment, retention and graduation at these historical institutions. • This is an opportunity to do work with a deep and fundamental commitment to equity and belonging. • If this speaks to you, please come join us as the Associate Vice President of HBCU Programs. • Report to the Vice President of Operations to lead program execution at over 40 HBCUs. • You will have 2-3 direct reports and a team of approximately 26, all focused on student success. • You’ll ensure program excellence while managing our talented internal team, manage partner and funder relationships, and curate key learnings and best practices to share with the field. • With a focus on impact, this role is intentional about how coaching can strengthen community, belonging, success and completion among students and the institutions that serve them. • This role will also represent InsideTrack externally by speaking at conferences, publishing opinion pieces and joining conversations with other higher ed leaders.
• Bachelor’s degree is required. • Master’s degree is a plus. • Ten (10) years of management experience, preferably with some experience in higher ed, a non-profit organization, philanthropy and/or with HBCUs. • Experience with program design, execution and evaluation required. • Experience leveraging relationships and leading strategic partnerships • Proven track record of collaborating and implementing best practices with HBCU partnerships and initiatives • Serve as an effective team leader and communicator with the ability to engage and maintain communication with cross-functional roles and departments • Experience in relationship building and demonstrated competency in HBCU culture • Stewardship of diverse partners with varying interests and resources • Experience representing program outcomes with partners at funders and institutions with the goal of growing impact • Strong business acumen, including analytical and quantitative skills (ability to understand complex financial models including ROI and operating margins) • Strong project management skills and ability to direct internal and external stakeholders. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with competing priorities and deadlines • Requires the right mix of sales and partner management experience, industry knowledge, strategic thinking and discipline • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills strong and demonstrated public speaking and presentation skills
