📋 Description
• Handle the technical aspects of policy administration • Manage receipt and processing of RFPs • Manage process and procedures for Policy Administration • Identify and implement operational improvements • Prepare file used in policy construction and follow up on questions/paperwork • Identify required forms and materials for policy issuance • Assist in handling various requests from brokers and/or underwriters • Manage activity logs for policy issuance • Interact with other departments to resolve discrepancies • Own portions of carrier audit in regard to Policy Administration RFPs • Use underwriting system to enter submissions and clear them • Compile and verify information for completeness • Monitor submission status and follow up on outstanding documents • Run reports from Gradient AI system for risk scores
🎯 Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience • Two or more years of experience in medical stop loss underwriting preferred • Solid technical understanding of medical stop loss underwriting support function • Strong mathematical and analytical skills • Above average communication skills for internal and external partners • Proficient in Excel, Word, and Outlook • Strong attention to detail • Ability to multi-task, prioritize and complete assignments/tasks timely • Experience with the David Young System preferred
