📋 Description
• Work within our European actuarial consulting team to provide actuarial support to a range of captive and commercial insurers globally. • Lead and manage Solvency II-related projects, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality outcomes. • Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients, providing expert advice on Solvency II compliance. • Conduct comprehensive risk assessments and develop models to quantify risks in line with Solvency II standards. • Consult and advise on a range of actuarial offerings for captives and commercial insurance companies.
🎯 Requirements
• Strong academic record including: • Numerical degree at a minimum of bachelor level (or equivalent). • Full professional qualification (i.e. IFoA or similar). • A member in good standing of an actuarial institute (i.e. IFoA or similar). • Programming skills (e.g. R, Phyton, VBA) • Experience of working within the non-life insurance industry for a consultancy firm or directly for a(re)insurance undertaking or brokerage. • Ability to hold, and experience in holding, Actuarial Function (Solvency II) titles. • Strong analytical, technical and communication skills (both written and oral) with a keen attention to detail. • Excellent presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts to non-actuarial stakeholders. • Fluent in English, French, (Italian and German a distinct advantage).
