📋 Description

• Stripe is a financial infrastructure platform for businesses. • Millions of companies—from the world’s largest enterprises to the most ambitious startups—use Stripe to accept payments, grow their revenue, and accelerate new business opportunities. • As an engineering leader on Issuing, you’ll be leading a group of engineers to partner very closely with Product, Design, and Data Science to build and enhance the Issuing product. • You’ll be a key leader to own and drive relevant success metrics, product delivery, and user happiness.

🎯 Requirements

• Experience managing and growing an organization of 30-50 engineers for 3+ years. • Experience in managing managers and driving multiple mission-critical and highly visible efforts in parallel successfully. • Effectively recruited, mentored, and retained great people, who are extremely effective over the long term. • Successfully built a team, defined its mission, set strategies, and executed its goals with high velocity and high quality. • Experience with owning and driving core product and user metrics. • Experience in designing and shipping user-facing product offerings. • Experience working closely with Product Management and Design. • The ability to thrive in a problem domain with high ambiguity, complexity, and can operate with great autonomy. • The ability to work well across functions and organization, and are able to think rigorously and make hard decisions and tradeoffs. • Constantly looking for ways to optimize for the best outcome.
