• Leading technical direction and strategy for Stripe's User Billing platform • Designing technical underpinnings of the product • Mentoring and leading other engineers • Building key systems for successful delivery • Increasing self-serve capabilities of the billing platform • Launching new pricing and monetization capabilities • Ensuring rigor, accuracy, and predictability of billing outcomes • Enabling partners in finance, strategy, and accounting
Requirements
• 10+ years professional software development experience • Experience influencing company strategy • Skilled in working across engineering teams and functions • Experience upleveling engineering best practices • Effective in giving and receiving constructive feedback • Experience mentoring and investing in the development of engineers
