Description

•Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of legal documents, including service agreements, vendor contracts, non-disclosure agreements, and other transactional documents. •Assist in maintaining the company's compliance with local, state, federal, and international laws and regulations related to payments and financial services. •Support corporate governance matters, including preparing documents for board meetings and maintaining corporate records. •Collaborate with and support the legal team in managing transactions from inception to closing, including due diligence activities. •Provide legal support and advice to various business units within the company. •Keep abreast of changes in laws and regulations affecting the payments industry. •Assist in the implementation of policies and procedures to ensure the company's operations comply with applicable legal and regulatory standards.

Requirements

•Certificate of completion from an ABA-approved paralegal certification program •Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred. •3-6 years of experience as a paralegal in transactional law, preferably within the payments, fintech, or related industries. •Strong understanding of contracts and experience in contract review and negotiation. •Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. •Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment. •Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. •Proficiency in legal research tools and software. •Understanding of the regulatory landscape in the payments industry is a plus.
