Description
• Follow advanced instructions with client-specific requirements • Review, proofread, correct translations in SDL TMS or directly in context • Verify completeness and consistency of localized text • Use Xbench to run automated QA with customized checklists • Report anything that is incorrect, inconsistent, or inappropriate in translation • Ensure all registered trademark symbols are in place • Access web pages, open files, and test files such as PowerPoint and e-learning courses
Requirements
• Native speaker of the target language (Finnish) • Proven experience in editing and/or QA testing in the following areas: IT content, Marketing materials, e-learning courses, technical articles, software content, subtitled/VO videos, closed captioned content • Ability to use CAT tools, especially SDL TMS (translation/editing) • University degree in translation would be a plus • Proven linguistic QA & editing skills and experience
