• Capture High-Quality Media: Produce professional-quality photos and videos that adhere to Summer Discovery's standards. • Daily Academic Photos: Document classroom activities, labs, and other academic endeavors. • Social and Recreational Activities: Capture the fun and excitement of student life outside the classroom, including field trips, campus events, and social gatherings. • Student & Staff Portraits: Capture individual and group portraits that showcase the diversity and energy of our community. • Adhere to Content Requirements: Daily Uploads: Upload all media content to Google Drive following established folder structures and naming conventions. • Weekly Selection: Curate a "Best of the Week" folder containing 50-75 outstanding photos that highlight the most engaging moments of the program. • Maintain Brand Consistency: Ensure all content aligns with Summer Discovery's brand values, tone, and objectives. • Participate in regular check-ins with the Marketing Team to receive feedback and guidance. • Respect Venue Policies: Research and comply with photography/videography restrictions during field trips, campus tours, and special events. Obtain explicit permission before filming or photographing when in doubt. • Compliance: Adhere to Summer Discovery policies, including curfew, alcohol and drug policies, and maintaining professional conduct.

🎯 Requirements

• Proven photography and videography skills with a strong portfolio showcasing your work. • Proficiency in digital photography equipment and editing software. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. • Passion for capturing authentic moments and storytelling through visual media. • Ability to reside on-site for the duration of the program. • Experience working with youth or in an educational setting. • Familiarity with Google Drive and online collaboration tools. • Maintain a “What’s Next, How Can I Help Attitude.”
