Description

• This role is on the Claims Shared Services on the Disability, Absence Finance/Tax Team and will run reporting, answering tax and financial related questions on disability and absence claims. • Be a liaison/QA between claims and central tax/legal/compliance departments. • Running claims reports for other departments and external clients. • Daily Wire Tax Remittance Income Benefit Reports. • Responds to all e-mail and phone inquiries within 48 hours. • Conducts training sessions for new and existing employees. • Maintains high levels of customer service with internal and external clients.

Requirements

• BS/BA degree preferred with a minimum of 3+ years experience. • Tax, Escheatment and Accounting knowledge or experience preferred. • Proficient with Windows and Microsoft applications (MS Excel, MS Access, MS Word). • Ability to work and solve problems independently. • Ability to work independently and part of a team. • Good communication (verbal and written) skills. • Time management skills. • Ability to negotiate and influence others without authority.
