Description

• The Intern assists with the development and implementation of solutions to influence business decisions for relevant line(s) of business • Identifies and explores potential vendors/partners to enhance our existing processes and product offerings • Ensures risks associated with business activities are effectively identified, measured, monitored, and controlled • Applies programming and analytical techniques to assess loan performance data • Participates in the development and implementation of credit risk strategies as a team resource • Under general supervision, analyzes credit trends or variances and provides results for root cause analyses

Requirements

• Pursuing an undergraduate/advanced degree (i.e • Graduation date cannot be prior to the end of the internship • Experience supporting data driven strategy • Foundational level of business acumen in the areas of the consumer finance, lending operations, and database analysis • Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Access or similar spreadsheet, presentation, word processing and database tools • Good analytical experience with high attention to detail and accuracy • Good understanding of coding languages, such as SAS, SQL, Python, and R • Knowledge of Microsoft Office products, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint • Straightforward and concise in communication
