Description
• The Technical Product Manager for Web and Mobile Platforms partners with engineering leaders to provide foundational technology and governance for consumer websites and mobile apps. • The platforms enable teams to efficiently create and operate features with consistent design and performance, combining into high-quality overall experiences. • The Technical Product Manager leads defining outcomes, initiatives, and processes that support the internal developer community, end user experience, and business priorities. • They champion adoption of platform capabilities and seek alignment and synergy between platforms. • They must have sufficient knowledge of relevant technologies to define meaningful acceptance criteria and to understand how technical decisions affect experience outcomes.
Requirements
• Significant knowledge of current technologies and practices for creation, deployment, and operation of websites and mobile apps • Experience with common product management practices • Experience working within agile product teams to build customer-facing software • Proven success translating software user and stakeholder needs into relevant outcomes and development scope • Proven success achieving outcomes through indirect influence and building consensus • Experience with e-commerce websites and/or mobile apps (preferred) • Experience with major public cloud providers (preferred) • Experience with content delivery networks (preferred) • Experience with web and app analytics tools (preferred) • Experience with mobile app engineering teams and mobile delivery platforms/tooling (Apple and Google app stores) (preferred) • Experience with authentication and identity management systems and practices, such as Okta, Cognito (preferred) • Experience in hospitality or travel industries (preferred)
