Description

• Analyze complex business datasets to identify trends, drivers, behaviors, and other key insights • Create custom data models for analytics use cases • Develop, update and maintain reports and dashboards, using BI solutions and other reporting / visualization tools • Collaborate with Product Teams to identify opportunities for feature optimization through data analysis • Contribute to designing and implementing data collection processes to answer key questions that will drive decision making • Support project budget management and resource allocation • Regularly report progress towards company health metrics and Objectives & Key Results (OKRs) • Provide quality assurance of data sources as well as relevant metadata for the sources of the different reports • Interact with company leadership and understand their need for information; proactively create datasets, analysis and reports • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to inform product strategy

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Engineering, or related field • 3 - 5+ years of experience in business analysis, preferably in technology-driven industries, or startups • Deep expertise in SQL programming is a must • Deep technical proficiency in at least one BI tool (Tableau, Metabase, QlikSense, Microsoft Power BI) • Strong analytical skills in other data analysis tools such Python, R or advanced Excel is required • Proficiency in creating visually appealing visualizations and dashboards to represent data analysis results • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to synthesize complex data findings and implications into clear business narratives • Consulting (or equivalent) background: able to identify the right questions in ambiguous situations, have a systematic approach to problem-solving and provide clear conclusions and advice • Experience in a digital B2C company, preferably in a startup environment • Experience with Google Analytics, Amplitude/Mixpanel and/or web-related traffic metrics and analysis • Intermediate level of Python programming • Master's degree in a relevant field is a plus
