β’ The Data Engineer will report to the Data Science Manager and interact frequently with stakeholders across the company. β’ Perform production-level automation of data collection procedures, including web scrapers. β’ Integrate multiple datasets in our cloud architecture. β’ Lead the implementation of a Data Governance framework for the whole company. β’ Develop scalable data pipelines preferably with Databricks. β’ Identify and implement improvements to infrastructure and to our data collection and processing methods.
β’ Bachelorβs degree or equivalent in a relevant field (engineering, computer science, etc.) β’ Minimum 3 years of strong expertise in Microsoft Azure (preferably) or another cloud platform, including core services like compute, storage, and databases. β’ 3-6 years of experience in data engineering with a strong foundation in Python and SQL programming languages β’ Experience working within data governance frameworks, specially in the implementation of best practices for data quality assurance. β’ Experience consuming API and integrating the retrieved data with other data sets. β’ Experience integrating different sources into BI tools and providing business analysts with datasets for analytics. β’ Proficient in data modeling and database creation and designing β’ Strong problem-solving skills and a creative approach to overcoming technical challenges. β’ Excellent communication skills, capable of collaborating effectively with cross-functional and international teams
