Description

• Develop and write proposals for new contract opportunities • Read/parse RFPs, develop requirements matrices, and conduct research on requesting organizations • Write quality proposals, outlining a well-written and clear strategy • Research, write, and organize information in a professional and credible manner • Rewrite and review proposal sections and related proposal documents • Understand complex RFP requirements and ensure they are addressed • Review products, services, and/or business ideas • Attend meetings with the client to translate requirements into proposals • Work under pressure, multi-task, and meet deadlines • Learn quickly and understand current/new tools • Ensure output is compelling and provides a consistent message • Work with internal teams to gather information and develop concepts • Conduct research on potential customers and competitors • Convey Surefox strategy, differentiators, capabilities, and other key selling points in concise and compelling narrative text

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in English, Communications, or Journalism, or equivalent experience • 3+ years of previous proposal writing experience • Strong knowledge and experience of Microsoft Word, Google Docs, and other word processing documents • Must be able to pass an extensive background check and drug screening • Excellent computer and organizational skills • Excellent written, verbal, communication, and interpersonal skills • Excellent time management skills • Work autonomously and as part of a team • Organization and attention to detail • 5+ years of work experience in project management, program management, or equivalent role (desired) • 4-Year Bachelor’s Degree (desired) • Experience working with all levels of management, including director levels and senior executives (desired) • Military background is a plus (desired)
