📋 Description
• Drive decisions such as "Will we use a SaaS or self host the various components of our architecture?". • Develop run books for emergency situations and execute tests of those run books. • Coordinate third-party reviews of our system. • Design and automate load tests. • Track and improve MTBF and MTTR • Share your keen knowledge with less experienced members of our operations team.
🎯 Requirements
• Strong background in software engineering • Passion for infrastructure and experience with cloud deployment design and architecture • Experienced with automation tools and operations methodology • Strong communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a close-knit team • Strong focus on code quality, repeatable processes, automation, and infrastructure defined in code • Experience building secure applications and methodically improving application performance (Profilers, APM tools, Security scanning tools) • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent degree or experience
