Description

• We are looking for a Senior Java Developer to manage the software development life cycle, from planning and prioritizing to testing and release. • Senior Java Developer responsibilities include gathering system and user requirements, building Java modules and testing features before release. • Ultimately, you will deploy and maintain functional, secure and high-quality applications.

Requirements

• You have experience in developing, maintaining, and operating applications / REST / (micro-) Services. • You have a passion for software architecture - OOP and functional concepts don't intimidate you. • You apply TDD, are regularly refactoring code and applying new knowledge. • You are willing to develop in Java, and have at least 4 years of experience. • Any experience with Kotlin and / or Python would be helpful but no essential. • You have experience with ensemble and pair programming, and communicate well in English. • You feel at home with databases and ETL, and can work closely with data analysts to support them in their daily work. • You are familiar with Docker and containerized infrastructure, strive for Continual Deployments. • You have experience with a wide range of AWS services for processing data. • Some Kafka experience would be awesome.
