Description
• Responsible for maximising profits from operating and trading assets connected to our platform. • Develop, implement, and oversee strategies for optimizing flexibility in energy systems. • Explore meteorological and energy market data to enhance machine learning features. • Strengthen the validation process for optimization strategies using automated tools. • Assess new energy markets for expansion of optimization solutions. • Conceptualize and create prototypes for innovative optimization products or enhancements. • Track and analyze energy market dynamics to identify trends. • Partner with data scientists to design and validate machine learning models. • Collaborate with software engineers to integrate research into production systems.
Requirements
• 7+ years experience on trading desk and/or deep knowledge of energy sector / demand response • Experience of algorithmic trading and/or power asset optimisation. • Detail-oriented attitude; a high degree of accuracy • Problem solving mentality and high sense of accountability • Fluency in English • Proficiency in another EU language (FIN, SE, GR, NL) • Experience in finance processes/ invoicing • Knowledge in BESS
