Description

• About Tailscale: Building a secure interconnection of devices. • We're looking for a full-time Product Designer to join the growing Design team at Tailscale. • Work closely with Product and Engineering counterparts to shape customer features and experiences. • Value craft and quality; strive for excellence in UI details. • Design ensures ease of use and understanding of complex security, networking, and privacy concepts. • Advocate for Tailscale’s design principles throughout the company.

Requirements

• Strong written and verbal communication skills that allow you to contribute meaningfully to strategy and alignment. • Comfortable working collaboratively and iteratively. You actively seek feedback, are able to discern valuable feedback from noise, and are open to iterating as much as necessary. Your projects don’t end when the code is merged. • Know how to independently manage workload and deadlines. • Have experience with technical products, subjects, and information architecture. • Explore and create delightful user experiences - journey maps, wireframes, high and low fidelity prototypes, polished UI, and complex compositions in alignment with our design system and product design principles. • Experience contributing to, maintaining, and working from a design system. • Create compelling, simple, and beautiful UIs using Figma, HTML, CSS, Tailwind, and Radix.
