Description

• Requirements-based Digital Hardware Design & Verification (FPGA) • Formal Requirements Capture • Conceptual Design/Hierarchical Decomposition • Detailed Design (VHDL) • Module Level Verification • Implementation • HW Integration • Formal Design Documentation • Design Verification via HDL simulation/code assertions/HW verification on-target • Development of Verification Cases, Test Environment & of Verification Procedures • Performing Verification • Formal Documentation of Results • Experience in one of the following domains: Digital Video/Image Processing and Video Standards (e.g. NTSC/PAL component video, VGA, SMPTE SDI, Display Port, ARINC 818) • Legacy I/O standards (e.g. Serial, SPI/I2C, ARINC 429, MilBus) • Modern interconnects (PCI-Express, Ethernet) • Memory Interface Standards (DDR3/4) • Peripheral Interconnects • Basic project management skills (Cost Account Management) • Ownership and accountability • Good communication and teamwork skills • Fluent English skills • European citizenship beneficial due to project requirements

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Electrical - , Communications - , Aerospace - and Astronautics Engineering or comparable studies • Minimum 4 years of project experience in complex digital HW design (industry or academic) • Hardware Description Language: VHDL, Verilog • Scripting Language (e.g. TCL) • Windows/Linux (user, scripting) • Mentor ModelSim/QuestaSim • Xilinx ISE/Vivado and / or MicroSemi Libero • DOORS and/or JAMA • SVN/Clearcase • Avionics HW Development Standards (DO-254), alternatively automotive, space or medical
