Description

• Determine labor, material, travel, and overhead costs for proposals • Collect cost data from internal functional representatives, subcontractors, and vendors • Create and maintain cost models for various estimating elements • Develop and maintain a repository of historical cost data • Prepare detailed cost reports • Provide expert-level pricing guidance to proposal and capture teams • Prepare and present cost strategy and scenario options • Stay current with FAR, DFARS, CAS, and other relevant regulations • Collaborate with customer representatives, price auditors, vendors, and subcontractors • Lead and facilitate pricing reviews • Act as a key technical expert on all pricing issues • Develop technical solutions to complex problems • Exercise considerable latitude in determining objectives and approaches

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) with 10–12 years of relevant experience, or a Master’s Degree with 8–10 years of relevant experience • Demonstrated expertise in Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), Cost Accounting Standards (CAS), and various contract types • Advanced skills in applying pricing concepts and managing complex cost estimates • Recognized for the ability to work on complex technical pricing issues • Strong leadership and communication skills • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills • Expertise in cost-estimating tools, software applications, and MS Office Suite • Strong organizational and time management skills
