• Active Secret Clearance required • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience, with 2–4 years of experience in Mechanical Engineering or similar degree, or a Master’s Degree with 0–2 years of experience. • Experience with CAD software (preferably SolidWorks) in creating and modifying model-based definition technical data packages • Proficiency in reviewing and developing engineering documentation and technical drawings • Complete understanding and wide application of mechanical engineering principles, theories, and concepts • Proven ability to independently determine and develop approaches to solutions • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills • Excellent communication and collaboration skills • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to articulate a case for change to stakeholders • Highly motivated and innovative thinker capable of working with minimal oversight to achieve given objectives • Excellent oral and written communication skill sets • Able to articulate findings and recommend remedies or alternatives to the government team
