• Start Date: Immediate • At EXPANSIA, we are focused on partnering with America’s top companies to acquire new talent with speed, accuracy, and a differentiated pricing model • EXPANSIA is a service-disabled, veteran-owned small business (SDVOSB) delivering exceptional strategy and technology integration services to the U.S. Federal Government • We support several Department of Defense (DoD) and Federal Agencies across the CONUS • The EITaaS Program is a Department of the Air Force initiative • EITaaS will transform the Dept. of the Air Force IT services • EXPANSIA is looking for a Senior Cloud Virtual Desktop Infrastructure Engineer • You will be responsible for architecting, planning and implementing desktop virtualization technology • You will work with the team to design, build and maintain the VDI infrastructure • You will be responsible for establishing and implementing best practice configurations that optimize the virtual infrastructure • You will work in a team environment, providing solutions to design requirements and technical issues • You will be responsible for troubleshooting and resolving problems, performing network maintenance and operations • You will also be responsible for documenting and communicating technical information to clients • You will work with your manager to understand requirements, priorities, and objectives • Participate in the full life cycle of activities including deployment and validation efforts to ensure product success • Our employees value the flexibility EXPANSIA allows them to balance quality work and their personal lives • We offer competitive compensation, benefits and learning and development opportunities

Requirements

• Active Secret Clearance required • Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field and 10 years' experience is required • Associate’s Degree and 15 years of experience or Master’s Degree and 7 years of experience may be substituted for Bachelor's Degree • Current CISSP, CCNA, CCNP, or Security+ certification • 7+ years’ experience with Virtual Desktop capabilities: Azure Virtual Desktop/AVD (preferred), VMware Horizon, or Citrix DAAS • 5+ years’ experience in Windows Zero Touch Installation (ZTI) build including scripted OS build, imaging, application package scripted install, and deployment to endpoints • 5+ years’ experience configuring, securing, supporting, and understanding Active Directory Domain Services (ADDS) • 5+ years’ experience setting up and managing cloud infrastructure, preferably Azure subscription resources, Windows virtualization, virtual networking, and virtual storage • Strong Windows Operating System installation, administration and support experience and abilities • Strong documentation skills including design, implementation and operational processes, and user guides • Experience with securing systems by following STIGs, best practices, and government/compliance requirements • Hands-on experience designing and creating PowerShell scripts for use in enterprise environments • Azure certification required within 6 months of hire • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with a strong attention to detail • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and clients • Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and work well under pressure
