Description

• As the Director of Finance for a non-profit association client, ensure financial health and integrity. • Collaborate with the executive team for financial strategies aligned with the organization. • Provide insightful financial analysis to support decision-making and inform leadership about financial trends. • Prepare comprehensive 5-year and 12-month rolling forecasts. • Collaborate with the in-house Controller to generate standard financial reports. • Develop a comprehensive 12-month budget aligned with goals and objectives. • Prepare weekly cash flow projection to assess short-term financial health. • Provide technical support to in-house staff resources. • Establish and maintain robust internal controls and ensure compliance with accounting principles and regulations. • Coach and mentor team members to encourage professional growth.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Master's degree or CPA preferred). • 10+ years of proven experience in nonprofit financial management and accounting leadership roles. • Strong understanding of nonprofit accounting principles, tax regulations, and compliance requirements. • Strong understanding of association management and nonprofits. • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite. • SAGE Intacct experience preferred. • Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders. • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and strategic thinking skills. • Demonstrated leadership abilities with a track record of team management and development. • High ethical standards and integrity. • Self-starter who is driven and has the ability to work independently. • Exhibit a high level of attention to detail in order to produce accurate results. • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment to support strategic direction.
