📋 Description
• Develop and lead a comprehensive FinOps strategy to manage cloud costs • Build and maintain a financial governance framework • Create cost optimization initiatives, including rightsizing and waste elimination • Collaborate with engineering and product teams for resource efficiency recommendations • Partner with finance for accurate cloud cost forecasting • Establish real-time reporting and dashboards for cloud expenditures • Lead training to embed financial accountability culture
🎯 Requirements
• 6 or more years experience in a FinOps or similar role • Focus on cloud cost management (AWS, Azure or Google Cloud experience required; experience with other SaaS providers preferred) • Expertise in managing and optimizing cloud billing models • Exceptional analytical skills, ability to interpret complex financial data • Proficient in financial modeling and cost optimization strategies • Experience with FinOps platforms such as AWS Cost Explorer and CloudHealth • Excellent collaboration and communication skills
