• Assistant Regulatory Compliance Manager is responsible for implementing a trade compliance program. • This position will lead and manage all aspects of import compliance activities. • Manage day to day escalations related to import activities from customs brokers and other stakeholders. • Ensure proper valuation for import declarations. • Oversee & manage customs brokerage activity, conduct QBR meetings, analyze KPI reporting. • Develop & maintain customs/ trade SOP for internal and external business partners. • Monitor regulatory laws of the region for developments or changes.

Requirements

• University Degree or equivalent in International Trade, Business, Logistics or Law. • Comprehensive understanding of customs imports procedures and regulations at India, APJ is a plus. • Good knowledge on valuation ruling, including but not limited to intangible vs tangible tech. products declarations. • Compliance risk analysis. • High level of independent thinking and problem-solving capabilities. • Project and change management. • Good IT skills (Microsoft office applications etc.). • Able to converse and write effectively in English. • Good technical and practical knowledge in customs and import regulations. • Knowledge of APJ Import and Export regulations.
