β’ At TE, you will unleash your potential working with people from diverse backgrounds and industries to create a safer, sustainable and more connected world. β’ The Aerospace and Defense (A&D) business unit at TE Connectivity has an opportunity for a Business Development Engineer & Systems Architect in the Eastern Europe to support Rugged Fiber Optics (RFO) in EMEA. β’ The right candidate will work intimately with customer to recommend products and solutions for new and existing applications. β’ Identifies new applications, requirements, modifications and enhancements to meet customer specifications. β’ Responsible for all technical aspects of sales cycle for potential application of products to meet customer needs, including identifying opportunities; determining solutions; creating demand; preparing detailed product specifications and technical marketing support; ensuring high quality and timely project execution and conducting follow-up technical support.
π― Requirements
β’ Technical or business degree required β’ Advanced degree experience preferred β’ 8+ years of experience in a combination of business, sales, and engineering β’ Aerospace & Defense market knowledge preferred β’ Fiber Optics product knowledge required β’ Strong organizational skills, and a strong sense of personal commitment to growth/business success β’ Excellent communication and presentation skills, ability to simplify complex concepts β’ Result-oriented way of working
