Description
• Lead technical discussions and mentorship for engineering projects within a team • Assist in interviewing, resource allocation planning, and mentoring • Identify and suggest solutions for technical gaps in our solutions and teams • Work with Product Managers to advise software development projects, including planning, executing, monitoring, and delivering projects on time • Work with stakeholders, customers, and team members to establish project goals and timelines • Design and implement software solutions in support of the TealBook platform • Continuously evaluate and improve the software development process to increase efficiency and quality, which may include implementing new tools, technologies, or methodologies and measuring the effectiveness of existing processes • Identify and mitigate risks that may impact the successful delivery of software projects
Requirements
• Strong written and verbal communication skills • 7+ years of experience in back-end software development and deployment • Expert in Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD standards • Strong familiarity with high-scale, highly-distributed backend systems • Familiarity with data stores: Mongo, Postgres, Redis • Ability to act independently, proactively, and in ambiguity to anticipate & solve problems before they arise
