📋 Description

• This is an unpaid internship. Candidates must be eligible to receive college credit as compensation for this internship. • Candidates selected to move forward in the interview process will need to submit proof of eligibility to receive academic credit for their time interning with Wasserman, and will be disqualified if they are unable to do so. • Assist in the development, implementation, and social media strategy for Wasserman social accounts - specifically basketball, soccer and The Collective (women’s practice) • Help with copywriting and design in Canva and Photoshop to ensure content is informative and compelling • Collaborate with other Wasserman departments • Measure the success of social media campaigns • Design and create visually appealing informational graphics • Ensure designs align with brand guidelines and maintain a consistent visual identity • Suggest new and creative content ideas as well as conduct research and social media scans for a wide list of clients • Passion for sports and storytelling is a plus!

🎯 Requirements

• Degree currently in progress, preferably majoring in Graphic Design, Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, Marketing, Digital Media, etc. • Strong writing and graphic editing capabilities • Proficiency in design tools such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Canva, or Figma. • Ability to take creative direction and work both independently and collaboratively. • Portfolio preferred—please include examples of past social media graphics or design work. • Knowledge of the media landscape, including print, online, broadcast, etc. as well as basketball, soccer and women’s sports/music/entertainment and activism • Thorough understanding of social media, its trends, and best practices for engagement. • Well-developed communication, organizational and time management skills, as well as basic administrative skills • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment and to manage multiple priorities and strict deadlines • Strong attention to detail and highly organized • Displays indications of being loyal and trustworthy with the organization and clients • Well-developed analytical and problem-solving skills • Must be able to receive college credit for an internship opportunity
