📋 Description

• Tech Firefly is looking to hire a Data Analyst for our client's Payments Platform Analytics team. • The team performs analysis and provides meaningful insights to stakeholders. • As a Business Data Analyst, you will leverage your data extraction skills to provide data-driven insights and analytical and dashboarding support. • You will work closely with the Product Analyst team and with many other Payments Platform stakeholders. • Your role on the team is to help the team gain better insights, inform better decision making from the available data, and gather data for various regulatory reports.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent practical experience. • 5+ years of analytical experience working with data to pull reports, identify trends and effectively communicate insights/recommendations. • Strong SQL proficiency; experience extracting and manipulating data with query/scripting languages • High level of comfort creating dashboards in Mode, Tableau or comparable software. • Advanced Excel/Google Sheets modeling skills (e.g. pivot tables, macros etc.) and proficiency in Google Workspace. • Ability to manage projects and interact cross-functionally with multiple internal and external stakeholders. • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in dealing with users at all levels (technical and non-technical). • Prior experience as a business/quantitative analyst in payments/finance. • Ability to synthesize data into useful formats and bring actionable insights through effective communication. • Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously, to meet tight deadlines in a high paced and dynamic environment. • Comfort with engineering practices around analytical excellence (e.g., development of business requirements document, product requirements document, and design documents, checking in and reviewing code, etc.) • Ability to identify workflow pain points, optimize, and scale processes. • Excellent problem-solving and project management skills. • Interest in aptitude in data, metrics, analysis, and trends.
