Description

• Lead the development of web application prototypes and underlying server infrastructure • Work closely in a growing remote team with daily pair programming • Design, develop and deploy critical features such as data ingestion and machine learning inference pipelines, dashboards, APIs and client libraries • Prototyping new ideas or technologies with short feedback cycles • Independent management of the budget for hosting & operation of the prototypes • Developing and automating internal tools and CI/CD pipelines • Bringing ML models from benchmarks to production • Active participation in technical planning and product design

Requirements

• Expertise in designing, building and supporting secure, scalable, public-facing distributed systems on cloud infrastructure • Proven track record of owning projects and driving progress forward by coordinating effectively with multiple teams and stakeholders • Experience and interest in building prototypes rapidly with uncertain requirements and short feedback cycles • The ability to make pragmatic, fast-paced decisions and manage technical debt effectively • A proactive approach to identifying problems, performance bottlenecks, and areas for improvement • Confident using Python in a large-scale production system • Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or a related field • 5+ years working in an Engineering role
