Description

• Opportunity to lead AI research and development for an expanding business • Conduct research and competitive analysis in Machine Learning and Data Science • Lead proposal writing for government R&D and commercial companies • Champion AI/ML with partners • Develop and evaluate algorithms to understand multimodal data • Balance pragmatism and product intuition for global customer impact • Collaborate with external researchers in AI, computer vision, and NLP

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional experience in machine learning (including academic experience) • Experience writing grants or competitive proposals for funding • Experience or knowledge of business development • A Proven Entrepreneurial mindset • Passion to continue learning about emerging ML technology • Experience with or knowledge of Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) • Desire to collaborate with other AI subject matter experts and engineering teams • Ability to lead, coach, and mentor junior data scientists and engineers • Experience with advanced data analytics and statistical models and methods • Practical applications of machine learning techniques such as Clustering, Logistic Regression, CART, Random Forests, SVM or Neural Networks • Experience with machine learning frameworks like Tensorflow, Pytorch, etc. • Experience in evaluating, training, and deploying machine learning models • Experience in Python • Experience with Jupyter Notebooks • Knowledge of Graph Database(s) or Knowledge Graphs • Knowledge or experience in cloud-based computing platforms such as AWS • Knowledge or experience with Agile software development techniques
