Description

• Plan, assign, develop and edit content articles for topics under your purview • Design content clusters with pillars and sub-pillars to build authority across the portfolio • Maintain a calendar of project deadlines and content launch dates • Strategize regularly with SEO and monetization teams to support traffic and revenue goals • Ensure your content strategy meets business objectives • Work closely with in-house and freelance writers to meet production goals and provide them with feedback to continually increase quality standards • Create article templates with detailed synopses for writers • Conduct regular content quality assessments using our BAR rubric • Oversee writing style and tone for assigned content areas • Ensure consistency across all platforms: website, social media, video etc • Collaborate and manage similar topic areas across our portfolio of sites, as needed • Research and stay up to date on the latest developments in terms of search engine optimization, content trends and consumer behavior • Track and calculate content ROI to ensure the content strategy meets business objectives • Write unbiased articles that inform the reader and provide them with the best answers to their B2B questions

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of content strategy and planning experience • Minimum of 1 year of developmental editing experience for a technical audience, ideally with a B2B focus • High attention to detail to ensure content is fact-checked and accurate • Comprehensive understanding of editorial strategy for a variety of B2B technology topics including software • Working knowledge of SEO and revenue best practices for online content • Excellent time management, prioritization and resource scheduling skills and can meet deadlines • Excellent communication skills: written, verbal and visual • Enjoy working collaboratively with colleagues in a team environment • Self-starter - that is, somebody who has a positive attitude and is not afraid to roll up their sleeves and get work done • Agile professional who excels in a fast-paced environment and thrives on continuously pivoting strategies to drive business needs forward. • Open to feedback and are a perpetual learner • Must have a working laptop/pc and internet and back-up connection
